How do you qualify for the Sabah MM2H Visa? This is the complete list of requirements.


At least 30 years old.

Offshore monthly income of RM10,000

Fixed Deposit.

Principle applicant is required to provide a Letter of Good Conduct from the India authorities, if you have a Indian passport.

Medical Report
All applicants and dependents are required to do a basic medical for the presence of any communicable diseases at any private hospital or clinic in Sabah.

Medical Insurance
All applicants and dependents need to be medically insured by a Sabah-based insurance company. Cost: RM600 and above, depending on age, gender, etc. Incidentally, this requirement is waived for all applicants 59 years and up.

Minimum Stay
MM2H holders need to be in Sabah for a total of 30 days per year.

MM2H holders over 50 years of age can submit a request to work part-time. Typically, this request is approved.

All applicants have to submit a bond. The bond sum is subject to the applicant's nationality but typically falls between RM200 and RM2,500.

Visa Fee
The immigration fee for each visa issued is RM500 a year.
